HeartSine Technologies invests in Life Saving Research

Since 1998, HeartSine Technologies has been designing, developing and manufacturing Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) for the minimally trained rescuer who is often first on the scene. The company, based in Belfast, and has approximately 50 employees engaged, in the development, manufacturing and marketing of the innovative cardiac AEDs.
Invest NI has offered the company R&D support, which includes ERDF funding through the Competitiveness Programme, to assist the company in expanding their existing AED range with the development of “next generation” SMART AED.
